Care Outside Normal Opening Hours Arrangements:

Kareela Village Medical Centre has made arrangements to ensure all patients have access to quality health care. During after-hours, patients have access to 13 SICK, whereby all medical records will be provided to us at the earliest time possible. 13 SICK can be contacted through the following:

Telephone Access

General Practitioners of this practice will take patient phone calls in case of emergencies. Once your results have arrived, the doctor will decide whether you will need to come in urgently or not. In matters of urgency, the doctor will advise the receptionists to contact you and make an appointment for the earliest time possible.

Appointments

Appointments can be made by calling our practice on (02) 9528 0711. Appointments will take priority over patient walk-inns. Your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. Emergency cases will always take priority. If you require a longer consultation, please inform the receptionist when making an appointment.

Fees and Billing Arrangements

Kareela Village Medical Centre bulk bills all its patients. Fees are payable at the time of consultation for non-medicare(private) patients by cash, cheque, Master Card or Visa.
Our consultation prices are as follows:

Upto 15 minutes $50
Upto 20 minutes $70
30 minutes or more $100

*Prices will vary between weekdays and weekends. Please ask our staff about the differences.

If you have any difficulties paying our fees, please discuss this matter with the doctor. The GP’s at the practice bulk bill valid Medicare card holder, pensioners and health care card holders.
